I first visited Nosara 12 years ago. I knew I had found my 'happy place'. Since then, I've returned numerous times, leading retreats, and trips with friends and family, and each experience has renewed my love for the culture, country and people.

With over 25 years as a yoga teacher and trainer, my deep desire is to create immersive experiences that allow women to connect to what truly matters in their life.

The Nosara area has it all. Beautiful beach sunsets, a thriving yoga community, howler monkeys everywhere, the most relaxed vibe you'll ever experience, and did I mention the FOOD? 😋

Our retreat is surrounded by mature jungle and is a short walk from the world-class surfing beaches of Playa Pelada. This is truly the ideal spot to renew, relax and reconnect.

The food that we eat each day has a powerful effect on our health. Eating high-quality fresh food that is both nutritious and wholesome revitalizes the body.

Meals at Casas Kismet are fun and a great way to enjoy the company of your fellow guests, to make new friends, share life experiences, and laugh.  Meals are served in the poolside outdoor dining area.

Our Retreat

"Casas Kismet" is our home for the week, a private sanctuary tucked away in the foothills of Playa Peleda, a 12-minute walk to one of the most stunning stretches of beach in the world.

We practice each morning and late afernoon in an open-air, yoga studio overlooking the jungle and ocean, with gentle breezes and ceiling fans. There is a beautiful pool, with an adjacent bar and dining area and the friendliest staff you will ever meet. The property is surrounded by mature trees, flowers, magical scents and of course amazing wildlife, including howler monkeys!

All the accommodations are newly renovated and are spread through suites in 2 main Casas (houses). They offer modern amenities including air conditioning, refrigerator, coffee maker, and boutique bathroom products from Raw Botanicals. Each room is unique and offers outdoor spaces to enjoy the sounds of nature and the crashing of the Pacific Ocean. The rooms range from private king suites with ensuite bathrooms to shared double rooms with private baths, to dorm-style shared rooms.

Our gourmet meals at Casas Kismet are 100% plant-based, and prepared with love by our private chef. This is life-giving food that will leave you feeling full of vitality.

Donna is a magnet who attracts amazing powerful women who are in harmony. Her rapport, respect , and relationship with Annie was fantastic. They are a very cool team with multiple talent. The combo of yoga, writing and conversation workshops, along with excursions and unique opportunities, as well as personal time, and the dance party on the last night rocked!
