And doing everything all the time is what’s getting us feeling frazzled, with the go-switch constantly turned on and no idea how to turn it off.

Not Doing

 

Our time together includes Slow Flow Yoga, sharing snacks and simply taking time to breathe. Ahhhh Exhale 💜

We'll talk about the difference between Not Doing and doing nothing... and why doing nothing, scrolling on your phone or zoning out in front of the TV may not be giving you the rest your body and spirit need.

Finally we'll bring your nervous system back into harmony.

You'll walk away from our two-hour mini retreat feeling rested and refreshed with a clear mind, ready to enter your busy life again.

What is Not Doing?

Not Doing is intentionally taking time to be still, to breathe, to rest and reset, bringing  your nervous system back into harmony.

When you’re always Doing, your mind stays scattered, your cortisol rises, you store abdominal fat, your sleep suffers, and your body gets tight holding all that tension. 🤯

During our time together I'm going to offer you a Not Doing Compass.  This is a process that will help balance your nervous system, release stress in your body and mind and give you a deep sense of peace and ease.

 

The Not Doing Compass

We begin the morning with Slow Flow yoga to release tension and ease your body. Combine this heart-centered breath work to help you let go of stress and journaling to reflect on how gratitude can shape a life you truly love.

Finally, sink into deep relaxation with yoga nidra and the healing vibration of Crystal Singing Bowls to restore your nervous system—all from the comfort of your ‘yoga nidra nest.’

We wrap up our morning with homemade snacks, good conversation, and meaningful connection.

Crystal Singing Bowls

Linda Yeung is joining us again with her Singing Bowls. The bowls create a healing sound vibration leading you into a state of rest more restorative than sleep. Your nervous system will be rebalanced and you'll feel absolutely amazing.

 Not Doing is a lost art. I struggled with it for years; caring for aging parents, selling my yoga studio, undergoing brain surgery, and most recently, making the tough decision to leave a 10-year corporate position.

I didn’t identify with the word burnout, but I was on edge.

Over the last year, I finally feel like I’ve returned to being myself. I no longer feel jolted by every ping on my phone, I wake up rested and happy, I was even dancing in the kitchen this week!  Yoga has so many tools for us to regain our wellness and thrive.

I'm so excited to share this transformative practice with you in an in-person, mini-retreat.

It's an honor to create this space where you can take time for yourself, surrounded by an incredible group of like-minded women. 🙏
